The NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship began Thursday morning at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., with the women's pole vault as one of the first events of the day. Centre freshman Sarah Hayhurst (Newburgh, Ind.) finished 15th in the event.
