The Centre women s cross country team emerged victorious at the 2014 Southern Athletic Association Championship Meet in Birmingham, Ala. It was the third straight SAA championship for the Colonels and their fourth straight conference title overall.

The Centre men s cross country team won its third consecutive conference championship on Saturday morning, finishing first in Saturday s SAA Championship meet in Birmingham, Ala. with a total of 26 points.

The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly cross country awards for meets held through Oct. 19th and Centre's Nathan Riggs was named SAA Men's Runner of the Week.

The Centre women s cross team returned from a week off of competition to race in the Jenna Strong Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio. Racing against a 43-team field comprised of the top squads in the area, the Colonels finishes in seventh place.

The Centre women s cross country team competed in the Greater Louisville Classic at the University of Louisville against a field comprised of teams from all divisions. The Colonels finished in 22nd place out of 37 teams.

The Centre men s cross country team competed in the Greater Louisville Classic, hosted by the University of Louisville and featuring teams from all divisions of cross country. The Colonels finished 24th in the 42-team field.

The Southern Athletic Association released its cross country Runners of the Week awards on Monday afternoon and Centre's Victor Pataky was named Male Runner of the Week for meets held through Sept. 28th.
