The Southern Athletic Association released its Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards for meets held through Apr. 13th, and Centre senior Stephanie Hale (Nicholasville, Ky.) won this week's Field Athlete honors.

The Centre women s track and field team traveled to Williamsburg, Ky. to compete in the Cumberlands Invitational. The Colonels scored 113 points, finishing second overall and broke three school records in the process.

The Centre women s track and field team picked up its first win of the year in an outdoor meet at the Centre Invitational in Danville, scoring 251 total points and winning by over 130 points over its closest opponent.

The Centre women s track and field team began its outdoor season in Memphis, Tenn. for the Rhodes Invitational. They finished second in the 16-team field and set three individual outdoor school records in the process.

The Centre women's track and field team had an excellent indoor season, setting 16 school records in three meets.

The Centre women s track and field team competed in their final event on the indoor schedule at the Fred Wilt Invitational in Anderson, Ind. With a partial roster the Colonels scored 72 points and finished third out of 13 teams.
